Xiaomi has launched a third-generation walkie-talkie named the Xiaomi Walkie-Talkie 3. The product retains Xiaomi‘s signature MO of being affordable. The device retails for Yuan 399 or $62. The device has several improvements such as 4G Full Netcom support.
The 4G full Netcom support spreads across three major operators in China. This feature makes it possible to establish communication within a distance of 5,000KM across the country. This is more than the traditional intercom call distance limit.

The Walkie-Talkie 3 has functions such as independent group building, quick team formation, and private intercom without having to carry out any advanced settings. It also arrives with support for OTA upgrades which means that we can expect to unlock more functions in the future.
The Mi Walkie Talkie 3 supports a variety of intercom methods such as one-to-one intercom, one-to-many intercom, as well as two-way voice calls. It has a high-performance audio system consisting of a 40mm large-size speaker unit and a professional audio processing chip that leads to a 30% increase in the volume over previous models. In addition to this, it also has ENC or environmental noise cancellation algorithm, that reduces the distortion rate by 10.9%.
Xiaomi Walkie-Talkie 3 has a 3,000mAh battery with 100 hours of ultra-long standby time and it can be used for up to 60 hours. It supports a Type-C interface. The Walkie-Talkie has a 2″ color display, IP54 protection, and an integrated back clip. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity as well.
