CSK’s bowling department looks dry without the presence of Deepak Chahar, Adam Milne and Chris Jordan. The bowlers need to pull up their socks and keep the opposition in check. Tushar Deshpande and Mukesh Choudhary didn’t have an impactful performance against LSG. Dwayne Bravo has been IPL’s leading wicket-taker but he needs balanced support from others. Ravindra Jadeja needs to lead the team better in the next match. Ruturaj Gaikwad also needs to start performing better. Dhoni is expected to give strength to the middle overs and can definitely be a very good finisher.

Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings have a few power hitters but lost against Kolkata Knight Riders. They’re eager to win this match.

The Punjab franchise can dominate the opposition with Mayank Agarwal, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rajapaksa. Odean Smith and Shahrukh Khan are considered to be consistent finishers. Kagiso Rabada came short against Andre Russell. The performance of Rahul Chahar and Harpreet Brar is very crucial that decides the result of the game.

CSK vs PBKS: Match Prediction

CSK due to the injured players have not been able to deliver well. They are at eighth in the table and need to make a solid comeback. On the other hand, Punjab Kings after losing the match with KKR dropped down to the sixth position. The match between CSK and PBKS will be a thriller where both will give each other a tough fight.

Robin Uthappa scored 50 of 25 balls at a strike rate of 200. He is enjoying opening the batting and will look to make it big.

Shikhar Dhawan has been a very consistent player in the last few seasons and has scored well in both the matches this IPL, scoring 59 runs so far at a strike rate of 134.

Mooen Ali has delivered for CSK time and again. He can be an advantage in the middle overs as PBKS do not have an off-spinner. He can also contribute in bowling.

Kagiso Rabada is one of the better bowlers in this IPL and he will be a good option against this opposition. He bowls in the death over which makes him a very good pick.
