iQOO had unveiled the iQOO U5 in December with 5G connectivity and the Snapdragon 695 chip. Today, the company has released an ‘x’ model for the same which does not support 5G networks but is way more affordable.
The iQOO U5x is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chip with support for 4GB/6GB RAM configurations and 128GB storage configuration. The device runs on Android 11-OS based OriginOS. The smartphone supports memory expansion all the way up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
The iQOO U5x features a 6.51″ HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch for an 8MP selfie shooter and a rear panel with a 3D grid pattern featuring two cameras, a 13MP one, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The iQOO U5x has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
The 4GB+128GB model has been priced at CNY 899 or 10,679 INR while the 8GB+128GB model costs CNY 1,099 or 12,968 INR.
The iQOO U5x is on sale in China via the company’s official site, it is available in a navy color and an ocean blue color variant.
