Antonio Rudiger has been approached by more than three clubs in the last few weeks, according to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. The centre-back is out of a contract at the end of a season, and will be available on a free transfer if he does not extend.

Bayern Munich are out of the race for the defender since January, and are looking elsewhere. Juventus have stepped up their interest in the player since they need a centre-back to join them in the summer, and will not have to pay a transfer fee in the case of the Germany international.

Chelsea cannot extend any contracts given the sanctions placed on them right now. As a result, they will have to wait for the takeover of the club to be completed before they can resume contract negotiations with their centre-back.

Antonio Rudiger is one of the key players under Thomas Tuchel, and has established himself as a starter on the left side of the back 3. The 29-year-old reportedly had an agreement prior to Roman Abramovich being forced to sell the club, and now, things are open once again.

Alongside Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen, Rudiger is one of three Chelsea centre-backs out of a contract at the end of the season. While the other two are expected to join Barcelona, Rudiger has a strong chance to stay at Stamford Bridge since he is such an important player for the Blues.
