Shreyas Iyer smashed his third half-century after India lost skipper Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson early in the third and final T20I at Dharamshala. Shreyas mustered an unbeaten 73 that helped India to register the 12th consecutive victory in the format at a figure of 3-0. India had a good start with Avesh Khan and Mohammad Siraj as they took three wickets in the initial six overs. After that youngster, Ravi Bishnoi took a wicket when Sri Lanka had a score of 29/4. Harsh al Patel dismissed Chandimal but then the skipper of Sri Lanka Dasun Shanaka had an amazing score of 74 runs in just 38 deliveries. Sri Lanka reached 146 runs on the scorecard.
Sri Lanka, with the help of 18 boundaries and 7 sixes, scored a huge score of 183 runs. The Indian middle-order played with the same intensity and smashed 17 boundaries and 8 maximums to finish the game with 17 balls to spare.
This win not only helped India make the record of consecutive three clean sweeps but a;so helped them maintain the winning steak in T20Is to 12 having an equal victory record with Afghanistan.

Rohit Sharma and his team created a new record by having a clean sweep T20I series against Sri Lanka. The victory was helped India equal its most number of consecutive T20I wins along with Afghanistan after defeating Sri Lanka in Dharamshala on Sunday.
Shreyas Iyer smashed a half-century on the third day in a row. India became the first team to have three series wins in a row with three Test playing nations.
