The gaming platform PlayStation 5 console is going to get Variable Refresh Rate support imminently through an update of the firmware. At the latest videos shared on the HDTVest YouTube Channel, Vincent Teoh reported that the latest Sony TVs set to launch this Spring, like the A90K that will provide the support VRR at the lunch, and also it has been coinciding such of the imminent coming of VRR support on PS5 via an upgrade of firmware.
Sony has been confirmed that the release of the console at the last year that the PS5 hardware showing the supports Variable Refresh Rate via HDMI 2.1, but it just will only be possible to utilize after the update of firmware in future.
