The entire specs and price list for the Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake Non-K Desktop CPU family gets leaked online

Intel Non-K Alder Lake-S Core i9 CPUs

The Intel Non-K series is designed for more traditional and cost-effective gaming setups. They don’t have the same overclocking capabilities or higher clocks (and higher TDP) as the unlocked SKUs, but they do have lower TDPs, making them ideal for OEMs and pre-built options.

As a result, Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake-S Desktop CPU family is expected to include at least 19 non-K variants. BestBuy also appears to have listed the CPUs, along with their prices.

Following are the links to each specific SKU at BestBuy:

  • Core i9-12900 – $529.99 US
  • Core i9-12900F – $509.99 US
  • Core i7-12700 – $359.99 US
  • Core i7-12700F – $329.99 US
  • Core i5-12600 – $239.99 US
  • Core i5-12500 – $219.99 US
  • Core i5-12400 – $209.99 US
  • Core i5-12400F – $179.99 US
  • Core i3-12100 – $139.99 US
  • Core i3-12100F – $109.99 US
  • Pentium G7400 – $79.99 US
  • Celeron G6900 – $59.99 US

Intel Non-K Alder Lake-S Core i9 CPUs

The Core i9 and Core i7 variations will have the identical core configuration as their ‘K’ series brothers, as is expected. Clock speeds and TDPs will be the most significant variances. We get the same 16 core & 24 thread arrangement with 30 MB of L3 cache starting with the Core i9-12900(F). The P-Cores’ base clock has been reduced to 2.40 GHz, while the E-Cores’ base clock has been reduced to 1.80 GHz. To 5.1 GHz, the maximum boost clock will be pushed back to 100 MHz. This is necessary to accommodate the reduced 65W TDP compared to the unlocked SKU’s 125W (241 MTP). The Core i9-12900 will cost $519 in the United States, while the F model will cost $499.

Intel Non-K Alder Lake-S Core i7 CPUs

There will be 12 cores, 20 threads, and 25 MB of L3 cache on the Intel Core i7-12700(F). On a 65W TDP, the clock speeds are reduced to 2.10 GHz for the P-Cores, 1.60 GHz for the E-Cores, and a max boost frequency of 4.90 GHz for the E-Cores. The Core i5 variations are next, with the most substantial alterations coming in the shape of a non-hybrid architecture. The Core i7-12700 will cost $359 in the United States, while the F model will cost $329.

Intel Non-K Alder Lake-S Core i5 CPUs

The Intel Core i5-12600 and Core i5-12400 processors will both have six cores and twelve threads and will be made entirely of Golden Cove (P-Cores). Both chips will have 18 MB of L3 cache and clock speeds of 3.30 GHz and 3.00 GHz base, respectively, and 4.8 GHz and 4.6 GHz boost. Both chips will have a 65W TDP, and it will be interesting to see how they compare to AMD’s Ryzen 5 5600X, as they are targeting the same market segment. There’s also the Core i5-12500, which sits between the two i5s and has the same core configuration but clock speeds of 2.5 GHz base and 4.4 GHz boost. The Intel Core i5-12600 will cost $240 US, the Core i5-12500 will cost $220 US, and the Core i5-12400 will cost $210 US, with the F variant of the 12400 costing $180 US.

Intel Non-K Alder Lake-S Core i3 CPUs

Finally, there’s the Intel Core i3-12300 and i3-12100, which are part of the Core i3 family. Both CPUs have four cores and eight threads (4 Golden Cove cores). The chips’ clocks are kept at 4.4 GHz and 4.3 GHz boost, respectively. They also have 12 MB of L3 cache, and the UHD730 graphics are used on all chips below the i5-12600, while the UHD770 iGPU is used on the higher-end CPUs. The basic Core i3-12100 will cost $140 US and the F model will cost $110 US, while the 12300 will cost $150 US.

Intel Non-K Alder Lake-S Pentium/Celeron CPUs

For the time being, the Alder Lake family will only have a single Pentium and Celeron chip. The Intel Pentium G7400 will have two Golden Cove cores with four threads and a base rate of 3.7 GHz, while the Celeron G6900 will have the same configuration but with a 3.4 GHz clock speed. The Pentium chip will have a cache of 6 MB, while the Celeron will have 4 MB. Both have a UHD 771 integrated graphics processor with a base TDP of 46W. The Pentium will cost $79.99 in the United States, while the Celeron will cost $59.99.
