Cast
Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans will reprise the roles of Green Goblin, Doctor Otto Octavious, Electro, Sandman, and Lizard, respectively. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange replaces Tony Stark as Peter Parker’s mentor.
It’s speculated that Maguire and Garfield will be reprising the roles of Spidey as weel. Their presence is a well-kept secret in the movie.
A lot of fan theories and possibilities have been floating in the internet.
The marketing of the movie has been well-constructed and it is actually poking fun at poor fans. A still which is newly released from the movie, shows that Spider man and Zendaya who plays the character of Mitchell MJ Jones in the movie. In the background, there is a sky scrapper on the side and a red spotlight area.
A video was earlier shared on a handle, the two hosts taked about the theories created by the fans about the movie. They didn’t mention Maguire and Garfiels but talked about theories like how Spidey will be sportinga man bun in the movie or how he will have a new podcast. In a video featuring Holland, the actor talked to the audience with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon and a funny moment when they talked about the fan theories.
Only time will tell how the various fan theories shake out when Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters on December 17.
