It’s finally here! Motorola has become the first brand to launch a device featuring Qualcomm’s latest offering, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The company has unveiled the Motorola Moto Edge X30 in China, this is the next flagship device of the company.
Let us take a look at the detailed specs of the device.
The Moto Edge X30 has a 6.7″ OLED FHD+ display with an amazing refresh rate of 144Hz. In addition to this, it has a touch sampling rate of 576Hz for a great gaming experience. It comes with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+ support, a hole-punch cutout, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Moto Edge X30 has a triple camera setup on the rear comprising a 50MP primary OV50A40 sensor with f/1.88 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera is a powerful 60MP selfie snapper, which is pretty remarkable.
Coming to the star of the show, the chipset powering the Moto Edge X30, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset has been paired with Adreno GPU for graphics and to deliver an all-around amazing and smooth experience.
The Moto Edge X30 runs on Android 12 OS with MyUI 3.0 clean stock UI on top. Motorola has integrated a fair 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
The connectivity options on the device include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 support, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
The Moto Edge X30 arrives in up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM configuration and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
So, how much do you have to own the first device with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip? The Moto Edge 30 begins at Yuan 3,199 or roughly 38,000 INR for the 8GB+128GB model, the 8GB+256GB model costs Yuan 3,599 or 42,700 INR.
There is a special edition device that comes in 12GB+256GB configuration which is priced at Yuan 3,999 or 47,500 INR. Motorola is offering a limited-time offer on the Moto Edge X30 which brings the price down to Yuan 2,999 or 35,600 INR for the 8GB+128GB variant, Yuan 3,199 or 38,000 INR for the 8GB+256GB variant, and Yuan 3,399 or 40,300 INR for the 12GB+256GB variant.
The device comes in Blue and White color variants and will be on sale in China later this month.
