Berlin 2023 is being announced officially by Netflix as the Money Heist spin-off show. Although Netflix has ended the show named Money Heist, its spin-off show is going to take place revolving on a popular character named Berlin which is under development.
In the Money Heist spin-off show, Netflix is going to return back actor Pedro Alonso to portray the role of Andres de Fonollosa aka Berlin.
As per the Deadline, the spin-off show is titled Berlin and is going to release in 2023.
Berlin is one of the most important characters of the series Money Heist known as La Casa de Papel in Spanish. He is a polarizing character. He has a mixture of everything within him, that’s why the audience has fallen in love with him. He is very charming, clever, funny, and attractive but deep down, he is a misogynistic and violent man, who is also a sexual predator.
The details regarding the show such as plot and further casts were not been revealed till now. Neither the plans of the makers about how they are going to bring the character named Berlin back was been revealed as we have seen him die at the end of the second season of the show Money Heist.
The news about the spin-off series of Money Heist has come to as the final part of season 5 was released on 3rd December 2021.
The final and the fifth season of the show was released in two parts, Volume 1 was released on 3rd September 2021, whereas the last and final part was released on 3rd December 2021.
The Netflix series named Money Heist is a story based in Madrid, a mysterious man named ‘The Professor’ (Alvaro Morte) has led the group of thieves that he has recruited in order to make two heists- one on the Royal Mint of Spain, and one on the Bank of Spain.
At that time, the Korean version of Money Heist is all set to be released. It is directed by Kim Hong-sun, who has previously directed TV dramas like The Guest and Voice. This version of series is going to feature Squid Game star Park Hae-soo as Berlin.
The Korean version of Money Heist is going to written by Ryu Yong-jae and his team, who has also written the Netflix original series like My Holo Love and tvN series named Psychopath Diary. It has come to hear that the series will have 12 episodes and all of them will be pen down by Ryu and his team only. Hae-Soo found global fame earlier this year after playing the role of Cho Sang-woo in the hit dystopian drama series Squid Game.
