Mohamed Salah recently reached 150 goal contributions in the Premier League, in Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Southampton. Here are the other fastest players to reach the feat of 150 goal contributions in the English league.
Harry Kane – 191 games
Kane was Tottenham’s best player last season, earning both the Golden Boot and the highest assists award. The Tottenham Hotspur forward has scored 20+ goals in four consecutive seasons and is among the best players in the league, overall.
Sergio Aguero – 181 games
Aguero is an undisputed Premier League legend, and is Manchester City’s best ever forward. His time at Barcelona has not been pretty, but that doesn’t take away from his Premier League record of achieving 150 goal contributions in 181 games.
Mohamed Salah – 171 games
The Egyptian forward now has the most goals of any African player in the Premier League. He currently leads the goalscoring and assists charts, with 21 goal contributions this season alone. And he seems to be far from done bagging in the goals.
Thierry Henry – 163 games
Thierry Henry came from Juventus as a relatively unknown player, and was turned around into a goalscoring machine. The French forward is Arsenal’s highest ever goalscorer, and shares the record for the highest assists in a Premier League season with 20, alongside Kevin De Bruyne.
Alan Shearer – 148 games
Alan Shearer’s first Premier League season ended prematurely due to the player suffering a knee injury. But since then, he scored 30+ goals in three consecutive seasons and remains the only player to have achieved that feat. Shearer is the highest scorer for Newcastle United, as well as the Premier League.
