German champions Bayern Munich have created yet another history in Bundesliga. During their match against Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday, Bayern Munich broke Koln’s 44-year-old record for most league goals scored in a calendar year.
Bayern’s winger Leroy Sane’s goal was Bayern’s 102nd goal for the calendar year 2021, which is one more than Koln’s record created in 1977.
Bayern Munich still has four more league matches left in this calendar year. They will have the chance to further extend their record.
Julian Nagelsmann’s team is scoring goals at will and there’s no stopping them in their current form.
