GTA Trilogy soon gets its first-ever patch update after the release

Starting with the first Title Update, which will be published in the coming days, Rockstar Games has stated that it will make efforts to improve the quality of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

In a new blog post, Rockstar says that “The updated versions of these classic games did not launch in a state that meets our own standards of quality, or the standards our fans have come to expect.” To this end, Rockstar will address the technical issues in the trilogy.

The hope is that with each update “the games will reach the level of quality that they deserve to be.”

Grand Theft Auto 3: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition are among the remasters included in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Players have noticed several glitches and other significant graphical defects in these titles, despite the fact that they have been upgraded with modern visuals.

Bugs range from visual oddities to AI difficulties. One bug causes planes to keep crashing around the open world for no apparent reason

It didn’t help that Rockstar removed the original copies of each of these games from their stores, leaving the Definitive Edition as the sole means to play them. However, Rockstar stated in the same blog post that the old PC versions of GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas will be offered as a package on the Rockstar Store. The classic versions of these games will be provided for free to everyone who purchases the Definitive Edition.
