Netflix has dropped the trailer of the latest five-part documentary series ‘Turning point: 9/11 and the War on terror. It has been timed for the 20th anniversary of the attacks of 11th September 2021.
The director of the series has said that modern history can be split into two frames: before 9/11 and after 9/11. It is undoubtedly a five-part effort that has been seeking the examine the catastrophic events of 11th September that become changed the course of the nation.
It is reported that on the first anniversary of 9/11 he was in Afghanistan for the filming and while he arrived in Kabul, it has been driven out by the Taliban and the mood become optimistic. After twenty years of 9/11, the world has once again witnessed some tremendous images of the people who are clinging o the bottom of aeroplanes which is undoubtedly a desperate attempt to leave the country.
He also said that after the longest war of American history and losing trillions of dollars and thousands of lives of Americans it was also faced several damages by the war and hundreds of thousands of Afghans become murdered by the Taliban who have once again take the control of Afghanistan. It is a tremendous collapse that has happened just weeks after a U.S. withdrawal.
After ending the 20th anniversary of 9/11 it is time to step back and also ask in its most possible path. In the segments of five 60 minutes, the series become featured with a wide range of interviews which is contained with officials from several administrations.
