JJ+E is an upcoming Swedish film. It is based on a Swedish novel named ‘Vinterviken’ by Mats Wahl. It was firstly published in the year 1993. JJ+E is co-produced by Filmlance, Netflix, and Sveriges Television. It is directed by Alexis Almstorm and written by Dunja Vujovic and produced by Teresa Allden.

The trailer of the film JJ+E was released on 11th August 2021. The story of the film is set in Stockholm in 2021. The film story centres on Elisabeth and John-love John’s affair. The two teen children were grew in the same city, they are totally different in economically, socially, and culturally. It was until they started high school in the same class. This actually seems much better than most teen romance from the US, not only because it just looks better, but it also feels more authentic.
Eld & Lgor, the upcoming single from Swedish pop artist Victor Leksell (Artist of the Year 2021, Grammis), serves as the film’s lead music and is featured exclusively in the trailer.

Cast
The Swedish Movie JJ+E stars Elsa hrn, Mustapha Aarab, along with Magnus Krepper, Marika Lagercrantz, Albin Grenholm, Loreen, Otto Hargne, Simon Mezher, Jonay Pineda Skallak, and Elsa Bergström Terent.
Elsa hrn, a debutant actress, who was labelled a shooting star by Dagens Nyheter. She plays Elisabeth, while Mustapha Aarab, previously known from Beartown, plays John-John.
Elsa hrn makes her acting debut in JJ+E. Elsa was born and reared in Stockholm’s Södermalm neighbourhood, and she has wanted to work in film and theatre since she was a child. She began the theatrical program at Södra Latins gymnasium in Stockholm, where she will soon begin her third year, after studying musical performance at Kulturama.
Mustapha Aarab, a Moroccan native, relocated to Sweden four years ago and now resides in Stockholm. He made his acting debut in the television series Beartown, which has grew his interest in the field.
Release Date
Netflix will debut JJ+E streaming worldwide starting on 8th September 2021. JJ+E is going to premiere on Sveriges Television in Sweden in 2022 following its release on Netflix.
