PLAVE Donates 100 Million Won to UNICEF: How a Virtual Idol Group Is Helping Children Worldwide

Fans often say PLAVE’s music feels like a bridge between two worlds. This time, the group has used that bridge for something far more practical: helping children who need it most. A generous donation and a upcoming keynote speech show that the five-member act cares about more than charts.

What Did PLAVE Donate?

On 2nd November 2026, the UNICEF Korea Committee announced that PLAVE had donated 100 million won (approximately $74,600) to support children around the world. PLAVE is a K-pop group known for blending virtual and real-world identities, and its members are Yejun, Noah, Bamby, Eunho and Hamin.

Where Will the Money Go?

According to the UNICEF Korea Committee, the funds will help children facing hardship from conflict, disasters, poverty and other difficulties. The support covers the basics that matter for survival and growth: clean drinking water, nutrition, healthcare and education. In a simple sense, it is the kind of help that changes a child’s everyday life.

The committee also thanked the group for their generosity and for using their voices to help build a better future for children.

Not a One-Time Gesture

This donation builds on an existing relationship. Last August, PLAVE signed a social contribution agreement with the UNICEF Korea Committee, and they have since taken part in initiatives promoting children’s rights. That history shows a steady commitment instead of a single headline moment.

PLAVE to Speak at The Children Festa

There is more to look forward to. On 20th November, the group will serve as keynote speaker at “The Children Festa,” an event hosted by the UNICEF Korea Committee to celebrate World Children’s Day.

Their message will draw on their unique identity as a group that moves between the virtual and real worlds, with the theme “Children’s Mental Health in the Digital Environment.” It is a fitting topic, since few artists understand digital life as closely as they do.

What PLAVE Said?

The group shared the hope that every child can discover their own potential and imagine their future in a safe environment. They described the donation as a small contribution toward helping children in difficult circumstances, and promised to keep standing alongside children so their voices can be heard.

Why This Matters?

Idol-led charity can bring attention to causes that might otherwise go unnoticed. When artists with large fan communities speak up, that energy often turns into awareness, and sometimes more giving. For fans, it is a proud moment. For children, it is practical help.
