Good news for anyone who loves dry humor and a very loyal relationship with one brown suit. Australia’s ABC has confirmed that Fisk returns for a fourth season in 2027, according to What’s on Netflix.
Kitty Flanagan announced it herself on social media after the ABC’s 2027 programming showcase. Her joke-filled message promised that Helen will wear the same brown suit and, for the record, won’t be falling in love or getting married.
Fisk S4: Overview
| Detail | Info |

| Australian premiere | 2027 on ABC TV and ABC iview |
| Created by and starring | Kitty Flanagan |
| Writers | Kitty Flanagan and Penny Flanagan |
| Co-director | Tom Peterson |
| Netflix date | Not announced |
What’s the Show About?
Fisk follows Helen Tudor-Fisk, a no-nonsense contracts lawyer. After a messy divorce and a career implosion, she lands in a chaotic wills and probate practice. Dry humor and a strong ensemble turned it from an Australian favorite into a global sleeper hit on Netflix.
What’s New for Helen in Season 4?
The ABC teases that Helen is now a partner. That means new headaches: running the firm while juggling eccentric clients and surprise guest cameos. Same suit, bigger problems.
Who’s Returning?
| Actor | Character |
|---|---|
| Kitty Flanagan | Helen Tudor-Fisk |
| Julia Zemiro | Roz Gruber |
| Marty Sheargold | Ray Gruber |
| Aaron Chen | George |
| Glenn Butcher | Viktor |
| John Gaden | Anthony Tudor-Fisk |
Fisk on Netflix So Far
Netflix picked up season 1 in August 2023 across many regions, and season 2 followed in December 2023. Season 3 arrived worldwide on August 20, 2025, and climbed into the platform’s Top 10.
When Could Season 4 Hit Netflix?
Fisk is an ABC production, not a Netflix Original. That means each season airs in Australia first, then reaches Netflix later. Here’s the pattern:
| Season | ABC Premiere | Netflix Arrival | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | March 2021 | August 2023 | Netflix acquisition window |
| 2 | October 2022 | December 2023 | About 13 months |
| 3 | Late 2024 | August 20, 2025 | About 8 to 9 months |
Based on that, What’s on Netflix sees two scenarios:
- Best case: an early 2027 ABC airing could bring season 4 to Netflix in late 2027.
- Most likely: a mid-to-late 2027 ABC airing points to mid-2028 on Netflix.
Netflix hasn’t confirmed it will license season 4. Given its track record with the show, a deal seems very likely, though it’s still a prediction.
