What if you could reboot your whole life every morning, like a computer? That’s the cheeky premise behind a new Korean sitcom in the works, and the cast being considered is already turning heads. Reports say Jung Eun Chae, Jang Do Yeon and Yuri of Girls’ Generation are lined up for Rebooting Today! (literal title).
Is It Confirmed?
Not yet. On October 21, media outlets reported the trio would star, but the production company, Contents Lab VIVO, only said that the three actresses are positively considering the project. So for now it’s still in talks, and fans should treat the casting as likely rather than official.
What Is Rebooting Today! About?
The comedy follows three best friends in their late 30s living in Pangyo, South Korea’s fastest-growing IT hub. Each day, they “reboot” themselves and start fresh. The series blends office drama, comedy and romance, and promises a chaotic, high-energy ride.
Pangyo Sitcom : The Reported Roles
| Actress | Reported Role | Character Snapshot |
|---|---|---|
| Jung Eun Chae | Jang Na Hyun | A psychiatrist with anger management issues |
| Jang Do Yeon | Jo Anna | A workaholic Pangyo IT professional |
| Yuri | Baek Ok Hee | A stingy owner of a small building and a villa in Pangyo |
Why This Cast Sounds Fun?
The three characters read like a perfect comedy setup:
- A psychiatrist who can’t manage her own temper: instant comic irony.
- A workaholic techie: a familiar figure in Pangyo’s startup culture.
- A frugal landlord: a recipe for money-related mishaps.
Put them together as longtime friends in their late 30s, and you have the makings of a relatable, laugh-out-loud story about friendship, work and love in midlife.
Where to Watch Them Now?
