How Yoo Yeon Seok Built Min Joon Ho
Min Joon Ho is known for telling the truth, which makes him a risky character to play. Yoo Yeon Seok said he avoided signalling the answers through big facial expressions or gestures. Instead, he let the character react to each situation and follow his own logic. The same line can feel completely different depending on who is watching, so he aimed for balance, neither overplaying Min Joon Ho’s emotions nor deliberately hiding them.
Styling followed the same idea. He kept the look neat and understated, the kind of appearance that earns trust at the hospital and at home. The twist is that viewers may read that tidy image very differently as the story unfolds.
Why This Drama Hooks You?
According to the actor, the real appeal is that the show asks more than “what is the truth?” It also asks why we believe some people so easily. He urged viewers to notice what characters leave unsaid and how others interpret their words through their own experiences and biases. Scenes you have already watched will take on new meanings as new facts surface, which makes it ideal for rewatchers and theory-crafters.
His advice is simple: don’t pick a side too early. Follow each character’s words and actions closely, and the drama gets more rewarding with every episode.
