Great design is one thing. Building it at scale, with consistent quality, is another. Nuuk, the new-age D2C home appliance brand, is tackling that second challenge head-on by partnering with EPACK Durable Limited, one of India’s leading Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), to manufacture select small domestic appliances in India.

Why This Partnership Matters?

For Nuuk: The brand wants manufacturing depth across its appliance range, and it’s getting it by working with specialised manufacturers instead of building everything alone. That lets Nuuk keep its energy on what it does best, insight-led design and everyday functionality, while a proven partner handles production at scale.

For EPACK Durable: The deal strengthens its footprint in the SDA segment and widens its customer base among emerging consumer appliance brands, a fast-growing space as D2C labels multiply.

In short, a design-led brand gets production muscle, and an experienced ODM gets a promising new client.

What the Leaders Said?

Nuuk’s co-founders Gazal Kalra and Shalabh Gupta say the partnership lets them build “with greater depth and scale” while protecting quality, and they reaffirmed their commitment to making in India and for India. EPACK Durable’s MD and CEO, Ajay DD Singhania, said the company’s focus as an ODM is long-term brand relationships built on manufacturing scale, product capability and execution strength.

What It Means for Buyers?

Better manufacturing capacity could mean steadier availability and consistent quality for the products Nuuk sells. The release also says both companies will explore further opportunities across India’s consumer appliances ecosystem, so this may be just the first step.
