Jack Grealish linked with a shock move to Manchester City post-Euro 2020

In a rather surprising development over the last few days, Manchester City are set to confirm the signing of Jack Grealish after Euro 2020. The two clubs have reportedly agreed a £100 million transfer, and it is set to be the most expensive move in British football.

The current record for the most expensive transfer is held by Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, moving to Old Trafford for £89 million from Juventus. The news has been reported by Sportsmail, who maintain that City are willing to break the transfer record this very summer by going for Harry Kane after Grealish.

Should the transfer go through, it will leave Pep Guardiola spoilt for options in attack. If there are no transfers out, the attacking lineup will consist of Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden, Ferran Torres, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus, and Jack Grealish. However, the club will listen to offers for Mahrez and Sterling, according to Sportsmail. No official bid has been made as of yet.

The Aston Villa skipper has established himself as one of the best creative players in England. He provided 12 assists in 20/21 despite his appearances being limited by injury. His boyhood club have reluctantly agreed to let him go, despite the player recently signing a new contract.

Grealish is currently with the England squad for Euro 2020 and has a big test ahead in the form of Germany in the last 16.
