KRAFTON India has announced an expanded partnership with Winners Alliance, integrating officially licensed international cricketers from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka into its mobile game, Real Cricket. This development broadens the game’s roster, which already features players from 15 other nations, enhancing its digital representation of global cricket.

The collaboration aims to provide athletes with additional avenues for digital presence and fan engagement beyond traditional match days. For players, granting rights collectively through Winners Alliance is designed to generate incremental off-field revenues and increase visibility among Real Cricket’s global audience.

Anuj Sahani, Director, Publishing, and Head of KRAFTON Incubator Program at KRAFTON India (https://www.krafton.com/), highlighted the evolving connection between players and fans. “With Real Cricket, we aim to integrate that relationship into gaming, allowing fans to experience the sport through the players they follow,” Sahani stated. He added that the expanded partnership with Winners Alliance would further strengthen Real Cricket’s ties to the global game by including more international cricketers.

The addition of Bangladesh and Sri Lankan athletes brings top talent from countries with a combined population exceeding 200 million into the game. This expansion builds on a partnership first established in 2024, when the World Cricketers’ Association (WCA) and Winners Alliance introduced over 250 professional cricketers to Real Cricket in what was described as a pioneering large-scale group licensing deal for international cricket.

Tim Cruickshank, VP of Commercial at Winners Alliance, expressed enthusiasm for the continued relationship. “The inclusion of Bangladesh and Sri Lankan players provides fans access to an even broader roster of the athletes they follow,” Cruickshank noted.

Developed by Nautilus Mobile and published by KRAFTON India, Real Cricket operates as a mobile cricket simulation franchise. The game features licensed teams and players, alongside tournaments and multiplayer competitions, designed to replicate the intensity of the sport. The game’s previous collaborations include partnerships with the Indian Premier League (IPL).

This development follows a trend of sports simulations leveraging official licenses to enhance realism and fan engagement, a key area in latest gaming industry developments (https://technosports.co.in/)** globally.
