Rock fans in the K-pop world have something to look forward to this fall. Xdinary Heroes is officially returning with new music in October, followed by a concert in mid-November — marking their first comeback since a major lineup change shook the group last month.

What’s Been Confirmed

On September 7, TenAsia reported that Xdinary Heroes has been filming content tied to an upcoming release, with new music expected in October and a live concert set for mid-November. JYP Entertainment confirmed the news directly, stating the band “is preparing for a comeback next month” and will hold a concert in November.

Xdinary : A Comeback Shaped by Change

This release carries extra weight: it’ll be Xdinary Heroes’ first music as a five-member band following the departure of member Gunil last month. The group originally debuted as a six-piece rock act back in December 2021 with “Happy Death Day,” building a reputation as one of the few genuine rock bands in JYP’s roster — all members write, compose, and produce their own music, a rarity in mainstream K-pop.

With roughly six months since their last release, this comeback also represents a chance for the band to reintroduce their sound and chemistry to fans as a reshaped lineup, ahead of a live concert where audiences will see the new formation perform together for the first time.

Why This Matters for Xdinary Heroes

Since debuting, Xdinary Heroes has built a loyal following through festival appearances — including opening for Muse in Seoul and performing at Lollapalooza Chicago — cementing their identity as a band, not just an idol act. How they navigate this comeback as a five-member group will be a key moment in their trajectory.
