ALPHA DRIVE ONE Scores Their 3rd Music Show Trophy — Here’s Everything That Went Down on ‘Music Bank’

Three wins for the same title is no small feat in the competitive world of K-pop music shows, and rookie group ALPHA DRIVE ONE just proved their comeback track has real staying power. On the September 4 episode of Music Bank, “BORN DIRE” took home the group’s third trophy, edging out NCT 127’s “Blingy” in a tight first-place race decided by a final score of 8,794 points.

It’s the kind of consistent chart momentum that signals a comeback resonating well beyond its release week — and this episode’s lineup made the competition especially stacked, with performances spanning veteran idols, rising rookies, and soloists all vying for attention on the same stage.

Why This Win Matters

Landing a third trophy for the same comeback isn’t just a nice milestone — it’s a strong indicator that ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s promotional cycle is building real traction across multiple music shows, a pattern that often points to a group solidifying their place in an increasingly crowded rookie landscape. Going up against an established powerhouse like NCT 127 and still coming out ahead adds even more weight to the win.

Beyond the top spot, this episode doubled as a showcase of K-pop’s range in one lineup — from SHINee’s Taemin bringing his signature performance polish, to a wave of newer groups like TUIDE, TNX, and NEXZ getting valuable stage time alongside more established names.
