They Call Him OG was already a fan favorite when it released in 2025, ending on a note that hinted at more story to tell. This new promo confirms that hint wasn’t just fan speculation — the makers are building an entire universe around OG’s Samurai-turned-Bombay-enforcer backstory, and they’re doing it with a striking visual identity that fuses two very different action traditions.

The new theme track from Thaman S adds another layer, signaling that the sequel won’t just expand the story — it’ll expand the sound of the franchise too.

A Quick Recap: What Is OG About?

For those catching up, They Call Him OG follows Ojas Gambheera, a former Samurai who arrives in India young and rises to become a feared protector-turned-enforcer in Bombay. After a decade in hiding, he returns in 1993 to settle old scores with rival Omi Bhau. The film also starred Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Prakash Raj, and is currently streaming on Netflix.
