From cozy living rooms to full-blown backyard parties, AKAI just expanded its audio game with a lineup built to match every kind of listener.

What AKAI Just Launched

Japanese consumer electronics brand AKAI, with roots dating back to 1929, has unveiled a fresh set of audio products in India — the SB-24 Bluetooth Soundbar, the BD-24 Bluetooth Speaker, and the PartyMate Series of party speakers. Shoppers tracking new audio gear launches on TechnoSports will find this rollout covers nearly every audio need, from compact personal listening to full party setups.

The Everyday Essentials: SB-24 and BD-24

The AKAI SB-24 soundbar packs 24W RMS output through dual 2.25-inch drivers, delivering deep bass in a compact form factor. It comes with Bluetooth V5.3, RGB lighting, IPX4 splash resistance, and a 2400 mAh battery good for up to 5 hours of playback, along with TWS pairing and a built-in mic for hands-free calls.

The BD-24, meanwhile, is a portable speaker using a Class D “switching” amplifier — the same tech found in professional concert equipment — to maximize battery efficiency while still filling a room with sound. Its 3600 mAh battery also delivers up to 5 hours of playback, alongside Bluetooth V5.0, TWS pairing, and party-ready RGB lighting.

The Party Powerhouses: PM-1400 and PM-2400 TURBO

For bigger gatherings, the PM-1400 TURBO brings dual 8-inch woofers and 140W RMS output, expandable to 280W stereo sound through TWS pairing, plus a rechargeable wireless mic for karaoke-style hosting.

Topping the lineup is the PM-2400 TURBO, a 240W RMS speaker aimed at both home entertainers and live performers. With dual 10-inch woofers, a dedicated tweeter, a guitar input, and wireless mic support, it’s built to double as a self-contained stage setup — expandable to 480W stereo output for larger events.

Product	Output	Battery Life	Highlight
SB-24 Soundbar	24W RMS	Up to 5 hrs	Compact, splash-resistant
BD-24 Speaker	24W RMS	Up to 5 hrs	Concert-grade amplifier tech
PM-1400 TURBO	140W RMS (280W paired)	Up to 4 hrs	Wireless mic, karaoke-ready
PM-2400 TURBO	240W RMS (480W paired)	Up to 4-4.5 hrs	Guitar input, stage-ready

Why This Launch Matters

AKAI India’s MD & CEO Anurag Sharma tied the launch to the brand’s century-old Japanese heritage and its Mottainai philosophy, emphasizing resourcefulness and value across the lineup. With products manufactured in India and priced to serve everything from casual listeners to event hosts, this launch positions AKAI to compete meaningfully in India’s growing home entertainment market.
