Catch the intense official trailer breakdown of The India Story starring Shreyas Talpade and Kajal Aggarwal exposing a shocking pesticide scandal.
Why The India Story Is the Eye-Opening Film of the Year
Imagine discovering that the food you painstakingly prepare for your children is laced with a lethal dose of systemic poison. Zee Studios has officially released the full, hard-hitting trailer for The India Story, elevating a localized tragedy into a nationwide war against corporate pesticide greed and agricultural corruption.
Fighting the Poison in Our Food: The India Story
The trailer opens with a devastating medical crisis as Yogesh Patil (Shreyas Talpade) desperately begs doctors to save his dying seven-year-old daughter, Pari. When she tragically passes away from terminal cancer, Yogesh files an FIR for murder. Backed by a relentless defense lawyer (Kajal Aggarwal), they challenge the medical system, pointing out that Pari was poisoned from the inside out by toxic chemicals present in fruits, vegetables, and consumer milk supplies.
As the narrative unfolds, a corporate whistle-blower exposes how intense market competition forces chemical companies to spike the concentration of dangerous pesticides. The trailer paints a chilling picture of helicopters spraying lethal chemicals over cashew plantations and toxic synthetic milk flooding the market during major festive seasons. When corrupt officials try to sweep the crisis under the rug, Yogesh and his legal team ignite a massive public movement. The film highlights the terrifying reality of the infamous “Cancer Train” running from Bathinda to Bikaner, warning that if agricultural practices do not change immediately, a similar story will repeat in every major Indian city.
