Netflix: The Big Guns
Heartstopper Forever is the release everyone’s talking about. Nick and Charlie’s story finally wraps up in this much-awaited finale, closing out one of Netflix’s most emotionally loyal fanbases since 2022. Expect it to dominate trending charts through Sunday.
The East Palace brings serious K-drama star power with Nam Joo-hyuk and Roh Yoon-seo leading a fantasy-thriller packed with suspense and palace intrigue — a strong pick if you loved Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
Desire, starring Ludwika Paleta and José María Yazpik, is a slow-burn family drama that spirals into darker territory, adding an international flavor to the weekend slate.
For laughs, The Hawk sees Will Ferrell back in familiar sports-comedy mode, playing an aging golfer chasing one last shot at glory. It’s classic Ferrell — an underdog story played dead straight, which is exactly where his comedy lands best.
JioHotstar: South Cinema Meets Global Hits
The standout here is Maa Inti Bangaaram, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s action-drama that crossed Rs 100 crore worldwide during its theatrical run. Its digital premiere is huge news for anyone who missed the big-screen release — expect it to top JioHotstar’s trending list almost instantly.
Reminders of Him, based on the Colleen Hoover bestseller, follows a young mother rebuilding her life after loss. Hoover’s massive Indian reader base makes this an easy, built-in hit.
Literature fans get a treat with Wuthering Heights, a new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic gothic novel — one of English literature’s most enduring tragic love stories, as chronicled on Wikipedia. Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi star as Catherine and Heathcliff, bringing fresh intensity to the Yorkshire moors.
If horror-comedy is more your speed, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come brings back Samara Weaving for more chaotic, blood-soaked fun alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood.
And for a genuine sci-fi curveball, Test Subject V premieres with a mysterious experiment that threatens to upend humanity — a solid pick for late-night thriller lovers.
Prime Video: Quick Action Fix
Ride or Die is Prime Video’s fresh action series addition — a no-frills option if you just want something fast-paced to burn through your evening.
Which One Should You Watch First?
If you only have time for one, it’s a toss-up between Heartstopper Forever for the emotional send-off and Maa Inti Bangaaram if you’re catching up on this year’s biggest Telugu hit. Either way, this weekend’s watchlist practically fills itself.
