UEFA Champions League Final tickets have been sold out within just 30 minutes

All the tickets for the 2021 UEFA Champions League final on 29 May at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto are sold out within just 30 minutes. The match was switched from Istanbul came after the UK authorities on May 7 put Turkey on their “red list” of the most severe travel conditions. UEFA then decided to host the match at Porto

According to the information available, it did not take enough time for all the tickets to be sold after the ticket window was opened on UEFA.com today. The Portuguese authorities have confirmed a capacity of 33% or up to 16,500 spectators for the UEFA Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City. Each of the finalist clubs had an allocation of 6,000 tickets reserved for their supporters and sales for those were conducted by the clubs directly and only 1700 tickets were made available to the general public.

1700 tickets that was reserved for the general public, has been sold on first come first serve basis according to UEFA. All the tickets for the UEFA Champions League Final’s were sold between 70 euros to 600 euros against a range of 40 to 130 euros for Wednesday’s Europa League final in Gdansk between Manchester United and Villareal.

However, there will be some safety measures for the fans following the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Spectators will require proof of a negative Covid-19 test for entering the stadium on the matchday.
