Spider-Man Brand New Day OTT Release Date: When to Stream the MCU’s Biggest Film of 2026. Peter Parker is back — anonymous, alone, and evolving. Here’s when the web-slinger swings onto your screen at home.

Five years after the emotionally devastating No Way Home, Tom Holland is back in the red suit. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for release in the United States on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU. If you’re already planning to skip the queue and watch it at home, here’s everything you need to know about the Spider-Man Brand New Day OTT release date.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day — Quick Info

What Is Spider-Man: Brand New Day About?

Following Dr. Stephen Strange’s spell at the end of No Way Home, the world has forgotten that Peter Parker exists. Four years later, Parker anonymously protects New York City as Spider-Man and investigates a powerful new threat while his superpowers undergo a surprising and potentially dangerous evolution.

Tom Holland described it as “a movie about when young people really find their identity and become adults,” adding that having lived through that personally gave him great insight into bringing Peter Parker to life in this new chapter.

Jon Bernthal reprises his beloved role as the Punisher, and the dynamic between Parker and Castle — part friction, part unlikely brotherhood — is already being called one of the film’s highlights.

When Is the Spider-Man Brand New Day OTT Release Date?

No official streaming date has been confirmed, but the roadmap is fairly clear.

Sony has adjusted its theatrical windows in recent years. Smaller releases arrive on PVOD as early as 45 days after their theatrical debut, while major blockbusters typically remain exclusive to theatres for around 60 to 75 days before being released digitally. Given the scale of Brand New Day, a PVOD debut in late September or October 2026 is the most realistic window.

In January 2026, Sony and Netflix announced a new agreement giving Netflix “pay 1 window” rights globally. After that Netflix window, the film is expected to stream on Disney+, possibly around February 2027.

Why You Need to Watch This on the Big Screen First

Brand New Day had the best first-day ticket pre-sales in the United States in five years since No Way Home in 2021. That kind of anticipation doesn’t happen by accident. This is the MCU firing on all cylinders — and the kind of film that rewards a proper cinematic experience before the home streaming date arrives.
