Amazon Prime Day 2026: Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 Smart Glasses at ₹22,575 Effective Price

This is one of the more unexpected Prime Day deals — a pair of smart AI glasses that look exactly like regular Ray-Bans, now at their lowest price yet in India. The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 (Wayfarer, Matte Black) is being offered as a Deal of the Day with a striking three-tier discount structure.

What Makes These Actually Useful

The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 aren’t AR glasses — there’s no heads-up display or overlay. What they are is a genuinely wearable AI + camera + audio device that looks indistinguishable from a regular pair of Ray-Bans. The Wayfarer frame is the same classic silhouette, just with Meta’s computing layer built into the temples.

Day-to-day, that translates to three practical use cases most people will actually use: hands-free photo and video capture (great for travel and candid moments), music and call audio through open-ear speakers that let you stay aware of your surroundings, and Meta AI on tap via voice commands for quick questions, translations, and reminders.

The 5-microphone array handles calls clearly, and reviewers on Amazon India consistently praise the audio quality for both music and calls. The main limitations are the 4-hour battery life on the glasses themselves (though the case extends it significantly) and the one-minute video clip cap.

How It Fits Into the AI Wearables Wave

The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 launched in India in May 2025 at ₹29,900. The Prime Day deal at ₹22,575 effective is the most significant India price drop the product has seen. As a category, smart glasses are gaining traction rapidly — we covered similar trends in our WhatsApp usernames feature coverage where Meta’s broader India push is clearly accelerating.

Should You Buy?

If you spend a lot of time outdoors, travel frequently, or create casual POV content, the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 at ₹22,575 is one of the most compelling wearable deals of the year. It’s not for everyone — you need an active Meta ecosystem, and your use case needs to fit the form factor. But if it fits, this deal is hard to ignore.

The Bottom Line

₹22,575 for smart AI glasses that pass as regular Ray-Bans, come with 12MP capture, Meta AI voice assistant, and solid open-ear audio — this is one of Prime Day’s standout lifestyle tech deals. The Gen 2 exists globally, which is partly why Gen 1 pricing has become this aggressive.
