- Real Madrid have their destiny in their own hands. If they manage to win all their remaining 4 matches, they will be the Champions as they have a head to head advantage with Atletico Madrid and even Barcelona.
- If Real Madrid lose or draw one match and Atletico Madrid manage to win the remaining 3 matches they will be crowned the Champions.
- If Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid both lose a match then only Barcelona have a chance at lifting the title by winning all their remaining matches.
So now, the draw at Camp Nou has handed Real Madrid the clear chance of defending the La Liga title. After crashing out of the Champions League against Chelsea in the semi-finals, this is their only hope of silverware of this season.
