Inside the Rescue Mission: Why We’re Excited

To understand why this cast has everyone talking, let’s look at the four unique “husband” types they are portraying:

1. The Leader: Jin Sun-kyu
Legendary actor Jin Sun-kyu plays a former elite detective who has traded his badge for a quiet life as a househusband. When the kidnapping happens, his old instincts kick in, but he has to manage three amateurs while doing it!

2. The Loose Cannon: Gong Myoung
Fresh off his military discharge and recent hits, Gong Myoung plays the youngest husband—an impulsive and hot-headed physical trainer who prefers punching over planning.

3. The Brains: Kim Ji-suk
Kim Ji-suk portrays a high-society perfectionist and professional architect. He brings the technical expertise (and the snobbery) to the group, leading to constant clashes with the more “rough” members of the squad.

4. The Muscle: Yoon Kyung-ho
Yoon Kyung-ho rounds out the group as a rough-around-the-edges neighborhood leader. His “ajusshi” strength and local connections prove vital as the group descends into the city’s underbelly.
