Filing for Love Episodes 3-4 Recap: 4 Moments Gong Myoung Couldn’t Help Falling for Shin Hae Sun — And Neither Could We

If you thought Filing for Love was going to be your typical slow-burn K-drama where the leads spend six episodes just making eye contact — think again. Episodes 3 and 4 just turbocharged everything, and Noh Ki Jun (Gong Myoung) is already in way deeper than he ever planned.

Here are the four moments that made it absolutely inevitable.

Filing for Love: Overview

1. Her Unshakeable Attitude at Work Leaves Him Speechless

When the lead of the PM audit team falls into a fake affair scandal, Ki Jun finds himself having to defend the very team he dislikes — and standing directly opposite Joo In Ah, who refuses to let anything slide. She is utterly uncompromising about sticking to the company’s rules and her principles, yet resolves the situation through her own intervention. Ki Jun can’t help but get confused about who the real Joo In Ah is — because the woman he sees at work doesn’t match the rumours swirling around her.

Her complexity pulls him in before he even realises what’s happening.

2. Discovering Her Unexpected Hidden Life as a Model

Curiosity gets the better of Ki Jun when he follows In Ah, expecting to find evidence of an affair — only to discover she is the nude model for an art class. It’s a bold move for a K-drama, making things all the more fascinating. In Ah, however, acts as if nothing had ever happened despite his attempts to clear the air, leaving him completely speechless and befuddled.

She doesn’t flinch. He absolutely does. And that power imbalance? Delicious.

3. The Workplace Duo Nobody Saw Coming — Catching a Harasser Together

Against his will, Ki Jun gets dragged into investigating a suspicious disciplinary case involving a female worker and a powerful executive. For all their personality differences, nobody can deny there’s no better team than Joo In Ah and Noh Ki Jun — he perfectly matches her bold moves without hesitation, even pretending to be a lovey-dovey couple or sprinting up flights of stairs to get the job done. They catch the executive red-handed, arrive like the coolest of couples in action, and start inadvertently growing closer, with chemistry and tension building between them.

This is the enemies-to-lovers pipeline working at full power.

4. A Kiss That Nobody — Including Ki Jun — Saw Coming

A second anonymous tip with photographic evidence of In Ah’s supposed affair throws everything into chaos. What could have been the perfect opportunity to bring down his nemesis now feels like a painful stab for Ki Jun. He inadvertently fell for her without even realising it — and it all explodes when he returns to the art academy, silently draws a portrait of her, and ends the episode in a fierce, unexpected kiss that is as intense as it is sudden.

Safe to say: nobody is filing for love anymore — they’re already in it.
