According to recent sources, Corsair’s One mini ITX vertical PC is refreshed with AMD’s Ryzen 5000 desktop-grade CPUs. It’s not just AMD; it is being reported that the new mini-PC will also be getting support from the new Intel’s Rocket Lake processors, plus a GPU upgrade in the form of the RTX 3080.
Sources indicate that the maximum CPU that will be powering the mini-PC will be the i7-11700K which has 8-core / 16-thread configuration. The soon to be refreshed system includes a Z490 mini ITX mobo, 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, and 2 TB HDD storage combo, 2.5 Gb Ethernet + Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth 5.1, and a Corsair SF750 power supply.
The model powered by up to Ryzen 9 5900X CPU is the a200 model that comes with a B550 mini ITX mobo. Most of the remaining features are the same as the i200 model, except that it will have the Thunderbolt connector with a USB-C and a few more USB-A ports.
On the other hand, the intel model will only feature a Thunderbolt 3 port, even though the Rocket Lake platform supports Thunderbolt 4. The other ports included in the panel are 2x 5 Gbps USB-A + 1x 10 Gbps USB-C + combo audio jack on the front, while on the back, we find 1x 10 Gbps USB-A, GbE jack, HD audio jacks, 3x DP + 1x HDMI video outputs.
The a200 with Ryzen 9 5900X can already be ordered for US$3,799.99, while the i200 model is listed at US$3,599.99 but is not yet available.
