The Traitors Telugu has officially been announced on Amazon Prime Video — bringing the globally acclaimed betrayal format to Telugu audiences with 20 celebrities competing in a high-stakes psychological game of trust and betrayal, hosted by the sensational Teja Sajja. The internet reacted immediately: “Yahi to South India ka dhoka time hai!”

The Traitors Telugu — All the Key Details

What Is The Traitors Telugu About?

Following its record-breaking success in Hindi, the smash-hit global format arrives in Telugu — featuring 20 celebrities in the ultimate game of betrayal, where only the shrewdest survive.

The show promises alliances, mind games, intense competition, and the constant psychological pressure of not knowing who among the celebrities is a Traitor and who is a Faithful — with contestants openly and covertly betraying one another in pursuit of the grand prize.

The rules are simple but devastating: Faithfuls must identify and eliminate Traitors before the game ends, or the Traitors steal the entire prize. Every conversation is a potential trap. Every alliance is a calculated risk. And nobody — not even the person who smiled warmly at breakfast — can truly be trusted.

Why Teja Sajja as Host Is a Masterstroke

Fresh off back-to-back blockbusters including HanuMan (2024) and Mirai (2025), Teja Sajja has rapidly become one of the most sought-after young stars in Tollywood — and stepping into the host’s chair at this precise moment in his career is a calculated, brilliant move.

In a surprising yet strategic announcement, Teja Sajja takes on hosting duties for South India’s biggest OTT reality show — bringing The Traitors Telugu format a host who is simultaneously relatable to younger Telugu audiences and credible enough to command the room’s authority.

This move marks an important step in Teja Sajja’s evolving journey, as he explores new formats while continuing his successful run in cinema — and brings him closer to viewers through an engaging, high-stakes reality format.
