AMD launched their top-of-the-line Radeon RX 6800 XT GPU in 2020 and has been reviewed; we can tell you that it’s an amazing 4K gaming beast for the price.
The Red team launched their reference GPU in its traditional silver color variant; however, it seems at approximately 6 AM PST or 6:30 PM IST today, AMD will announce a special Radeon RX 6800 XT in Midnight Black.
AMD did send out a special notice to its Red Team member, and Videocardz got its info. So, the new Midnight Black variant is just another new color variant, so no changes in specs, but provided AMD’s nightmare to keep up with stocks, how many people can actually get it remains a point to be seen.
The Radeon RX 6800XT features Navi 21 XT GPU that comes with 72 Compute Units 4608 Stream Processors, and units will be paired alongside 16GB of GDDR6 memory.
The card features a 256-bit memory bus and is said to have a clock speed of above 2.0 GHz. The game clock will be 2015 MHz and a boost clock speeds of 2250 MHz, along with 128MB of Infinity Cache.
It should have a 2.5-slot design with dual 8-pin power connectors and consume 300W of power. Obviously, we don’t know how much the Midnight Black edition will cost more than 6800XT MSRP that is $649.
