If you’re a Prabhas fan, you already know — every film announcement around him comes with sky-high expectations. And right now, the buzz around Prabhas is only getting louder. Fresh reports suggest the Baahubali superstar has sat down to hear story pitches from not one but two critically acclaimed directors — Amaran fame Rajkumar Periasamy and Eko director Dinjith Ayyathan. Both projects are reportedly grand pan-Indian ventures, and the production banner in the picture is none other than the prestigious Hombale Films.

Why This Collaboration Is a Big Deal
Let’s talk about why fans are genuinely excited. Rajkumar Periasamy directed Amaran — the Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi-led military biopic that became one of the biggest emotional blockbusters of 2024. The director has already proven he can handle large-scale, emotionally resonant stories. Meanwhile, Dinjith Ayyathan burst onto the scene with Eko, a compelling thriller currently streaming on Netflix. His innovative storytelling and fresh visual approach make a Prabhas collaboration genuinely intriguing.
The fact that Hombale Films — the powerhouse behind the KGF franchise — is reportedly backing these projects gives both options a serious blockbuster pedigree.
Prabhas’ Complete Upcoming Movie Lineup
The Darling of Tollywood is keeping himself extremely busy. Here’s everything on his plate right now:
| Film | Director | Release | Key Details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fauzi | Hanu Raghavapudi | Dussehra 2026 | Period action drama; co-stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada |
| Spirit | Sandeep Reddy Vanga | March 5, 2027 | Cop action drama; co-stars Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi (villain) |
| Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 | Nag Ashwin | TBA | Sequel; Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan back on sets |
With Fauzi, Spirit, and Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 all in the pipeline, adding a Periasamy or Dinjith directorial would make Prabhas one of the busiest stars in Indian cinema right now.
