Ranveer Singh is back, and the box office knows it. Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has crossed 264K tickets in national chains (PVR Inox + Cinepolis) for its Wednesday previews alone — and full-fledged advance sales haven’t even opened yet. That’s not momentum. That’s a freight train.
As of March 13 (10 PM), the film added around 28K tickets on its 7th consecutive day of pre-sales — a better haul than Day 6 — with the count expected to touch 270K by the morning of March 14. For context, this is just preview bookings. The real wave hits when complete advances unlock.

A Record About to Fall
The largest preview collection in Indian cinema currently belongs to They Call Him OG, which clocked Rs 26 crore nett. Based on the current trajectory, Dhurandhar 2 is almost certain to shatter that benchmark — and analysts believe this record will be just the first of several the film topples.
Once full-fledged advance sales kick in, expect the numbers to surge hard. The film has the capacity to deliver around Rs 65 crore nett on opening day, which would land it among the biggest Bollywood openers ever. A Rs 30 crore+ day-one is no longer a projection — it’s practically a certainty. Learn more about Ranveer Singh on Wikipedia.
