Ok Taecyeon Wedding 2026: 2PM Star Sets April 24 Date — And His Agency’s Response Says Everything

K-Pop fans, mark your calendars. Ok Taecyeon of 2PM is officially heading down the aisle — and the way his agency handled the news is a masterclass in protecting someone you love.

Reports surfaced on February 25, 2026 via SPOTV confirming that Taecyeon’s wedding is set for April 24, 2026 at a private venue in Seoul. His management label 51K responded with one of the most thoughtful statements K-Pop has seen in recent memory — declining to share any details at all, citing full respect for his non-celebrity bride-to-be.

The Love Story Behind the Headlines

This isn’t a sudden romance. Taecyeon and his girlfriend have reportedly been together for close to a decade — a rare, quietly enduring relationship in an industry where privacy is everything. She is said to be four years younger than him, and the couple has occasionally been spotted travelling abroad together over the years.

In what was initially reported as a birthday celebration in Paris, photos emerged of Taecyeon apparently getting down on one knee near the Eiffel Tower. His agency later clarified it was a birthday event — but fans never quite let go of the image. And now, it seems the real proposal wasn’t far behind.

At an awards ceremony not long ago, Taecyeon made hearts melt when he gave a subtle but unmistakable shoutout to his fiancée — simply saying, “Love you.” That’s when the internet collectively knew this was real.

Why the Agency’s Response Matters

In an industry where celebrity relationships often become PR moments, 51K’s decision to share nothing — no venue, no guest list, no photos — speaks volumes. Their statement specifically highlighted that the bride’s non-celebrity status was the reason for total privacy, and they asked fans to simply send warm blessings.

It’s refreshing. And honestly? It’s exactly what you’d hope for when someone you’ve cheered on for over a decade finally finds their person.
