It has already been made clear by Bayern Munich and David Alaba that he will leave the club this summer when his contract expires. He will be leaving the Bundesliga champions for free, but till now, he hasn’t signed any pre-contract offer with any club.

According to multiple sources, David Alava just has a verbal agreement with only one team, Real Madrid. Since January, he had the verbal agreement with the La Liga champions, but he hasn’t signed yet. A four-year contract worth €12 million per season has been agreed upon between them.

David Alaba has now commented on his situation with Real Madrid: “Real Madrid? Of course you hear a few things, but I’m not the kind of person who gets up and reads newspapers. We’ll see what happens in the future”.

Although it has been learnt that Real Madrid are the only club to have reached a verbal agreement with Alaba, other top European clubs are still trying to get him. Chelsea and PSG are also interested in signing the 28-year-old.

Barcelona’s new president Joan Laporta is also interested in bringing the Austrian international to Camp Nou. It seems this transfer saga isn’t going to end soon, and we will have to wait till the summer to know which club Alaba joins officially.
