BTS Comeback 2026: Complete Timeline

Historic Gwanghwamun Square Performance

RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook will take back the stage as a unit for a performance in Seoul’s historic Gwanghwamun Square, sharing the first live performances of songs off their upcoming fifth studio album, ARIRANG . The symbolic location—the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace—reflects the album’s deep exploration of Korean cultural identity and roots.

This marks Netflix’s first-ever Korean entertainment live broadcast of this magnitude, available across 190+ countries simultaneously as part of all existing Netflix plans.

Behind-the-Scenes Documentary: BTS: THE RETURN

The documentary “BTS: The Return,” directed by Bao Nguyen (“The Greatest Night in Pop”), will chronicle the return of the group as they reunite in Los Angeles to make music following their hiatus News9live. Premiering March 27, the feature-length film promises unprecedented access to their creative reunion process.

The documentary captures how individual military experiences and solo projects transformed into collective artistic evolution for ARIRANG—their first full-length album since 2022’s Proof.

What Comes After: The ARIRANG World Tour

Following the comeback concert, the ARIRANG World Tour performs in 34 regions across five continents with over 79 shows planned from April 2026 to March 2027 ZAWYA. The tour launches April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, featuring a unique 360-degree “in-the-round” stage design for all stadium dates.
