Why Never Have I Ever Season 5 Isn’t Happening

Here’s the reality: Never Have I Ever Season 5 was never planned. Netflix and creator Mindy Kaling jointly decided to conclude Devi’s story after four seasons, giving the series a natural ending rather than an abrupt cancellation.

According to Netflix’s official announcement, Universal Television President Erin Underhill described the conclusion as fitting, noting that like high school itself, all great things must come to an end. Season 4 wrapped up Devi’s journey as she prepared for college alongside her friends.
