The SSC GD Final Cut-Off Marks 2025

Alongside the merit list, the Staff Selection Commission has also released the official cut-off marks for the final selection. These cut-offs are crucial, as they determine the minimum scores required for appointment across different forces and categories. The final merit list was meticulously prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the Computer-Based Test, incorporating factors like normalised scores and NCC bonus marks where applicable.

The cut-off has been released on a state-wise and category-wise basis. A detailed analysis of the cut-off figures shows significant variations across different regions and paramilitary forces, reflecting the intense competition for the limited vacancies.

What Comes Next for Selected Candidates?

Candidates who find their names and roll numbers on the final merit list PDF should now prepare for the final stages of the appointment process. The provisional selection means they will be called for document verification and subsequent joining formalities by the respective Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) or other allocated forces.

It is strongly advised that provisionally selected candidates closely monitor the official websites of the allocated forces—such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, AR, and SSF—for their detailed joining instructions and schedules. Any discrepancy in documentation at this stage could lead to the cancellation of candidature. Keep all original documents, including educational certificates, domicile, caste/category certificates, and photo ID proofs, ready for inspection.
