Urban Commuting Gets a Power Boost: Acer Unveils the Predator ES Storm Pro E-Scooter

In the concrete jungle, mobility is everything. On January 6, 2026, Acer expanded its Predator gaming lineage onto the streets with the launch of the Predator ES Storm Pro, a high-performance electric scooter designed for the modern urban warrior.

Moving beyond laptops and monitors, Acer’s e-mobility division has crafted a scooter that balances rugged durability with smart connectivity, aiming to redefine the daily commute for those who face mixed terrain and long distances.

Built for the City Grind

The Predator ES Storm Pro isn’t your average last-mile solution. At its core is a 500 W rear hub motor capable of peaking at 1200 W, delivering the torque needed to tackle 25% inclines and maintain speed on uneven paths. Whether you’re dodging traffic or cruising on a bike lane, the scooter’s 10-inch pneumatic tubeless tires and dual suspension system (front fork and rear double spring shock) ensure the ride remains smooth.

Safety Meets Intelligence

Safety is paramount in urban environments. The Storm Pro features a rear disc brake with eABS for reliable stopping power and a traction control system to handle wet surfaces. Visibility is boosted by Predator-branded RGB lighting, including turn signals and ambient lights, ensuring you’re seen day or night.

The scooter also integrates seamlessly with the Acer eMobility app, allowing riders to check battery status, adjust ride modes (Pedestrian, ECO, D, S), and even electronically lock the motor for added security.

Range and Portability

For the long-haul commuter, the Storm Pro offers a range of up to 60 km on a single charge, thanks to its 48V battery and regenerative braking system (KERS). Despite its heavy-duty specs, it features a foldable aluminum frame, making it possible to stow away at the office or carry onto public transport.
