OPPO’s camera team evaluates submissions based on composition, lighting, color balance, and subject focus—professional criteria that prepare participants for industry standards.

Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications at OPPO India, emphasized the program’s mission to create spaces where students experiment fearlessly and discover their visual voice. By combining cutting-edge technology with mentorship and community support, OPPO aims to transform everyday moments into meaningful narratives through youth perspectives.

Building a Creator Ecosystem

Beyond the initial challenge, all shortlisted students join the Snap Circle Community for a year-long journey featuring workshops, curated photo walks, product experiences, and continued expert mentorship. This extended engagement reflects OPPO’s commitment to deepening industry-academia collaboration while fostering technical skills, creative confidence, and storytelling independence.

The program commenced at JECRC University in Jaipur, with 2026 expansion covering leading universities across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Bhubaneswar. This multi-city approach ensures diverse creative voices receive support regardless of geographic location.

Industry-Leading Imaging Technology

Participants gain hands-on experience with the Find X Series’ advanced imaging system, positioning the program as more than a campus activity—it becomes a pathway for young talent to explore modern mobile photography possibilities. The devices showcase OPPO’s innovation in imaging technology, device durability, and battery optimization.
