Holistic Development Philosophy
Da One Sports aims to create long-term development pathways for young athletes rather than operating as short-term training centers. The residential academy brings professional coaching, structured academics, and safe residential facilities under one roof, enabling students to train while maintaining educational stability.
“I have always believed that for a child’s overall growth, education and sport must go hand in hand,” said Dhawan. “With our residential elite cricket academy, we are creating a structured and secure environment where young players can dream big, train professionally, and grow with confidence. If this platform can help create even one future India player or the next Shikhar Dhawan, it will be a proud moment for all of us.”
Strategic Location Advantage
Located in Pathankot, the academy taps into an often-overlooked regional talent pool, providing access to professional-level training that may not be readily available locally. The partnership with Sandeepni Gurukul ensures students can manage studies seamlessly while pursuing cricket excellence.
Anshita Gupta, Group CEO of Da One Sports, emphasized the organization’s philosophy: “This residential academy reflects the very foundation of Da One—building pathways, not just facilities. We aim to create an environment where education and high-performance sport coexist seamlessly.”
Building India’s Biggest Cricket Center
Sahil Mahajan, Founder Chairman of Sandeepni Gurukul, shared ambitious plans: “We aspire to build the biggest cricket center in Pathankot, where students from across the region can come to train at a professional level while managing their studies seamlessly. This partnership with Da One Sports further strengthens our belief in offering the best of both sports and academics.”
The academy represents Dhawan’s commitment to grassroots development and inspiring the next generation to believe in themselves through sport. For more on cricket academies and Indian cricket development, explore our comprehensive coverage.
