According to fresh sources, WhatsApp, the biggest social media chatting platform globally, will introduce a new feature for its Android users. Reports indicate that the platform is reportedly testing a new media footer in the Android application’s beta version.
The new feature is currently under development and may not be functional for beta testers. But according to WABetaInfo, version 2.21.5.4 of the social media platform shows a redesigned media footer.
It claims that a media footer can be found on the bottom of the page before sending any pictures or videos or any other media. The media button icon has been modified to reflect a new icon.
The earlier versions of the service users ‘+’ symbol. The re-designed bar also shows up when a user posts a status on the app. It also claims that there is no change in the app’s functionality; there doesn’t seem to be any changes apart from the design of the UI.
But that’s not the only news which we found regarding the social media platform. According to multiple sources, WhatsApp is working on a multiple device feature. It will allow the WhatsApp account holder to access the same account from different devices, without the need to have the primary connected to the internet, which we need. Finally, something to look forward to.
There is but one major concern for users like me who access the services of the platform via WhatsApp Web. The primary device needs to stay connected to the internet for it to function properly. However, it may change soon.
