Bayern Munich starlet Jamal Musiala has decided to play for Germany rather than England. Born in 2003 in Stuttgart, the teenager recently became the youngest player to score for the Bavarian giants in their history with his strike against Lazio in the first leg of 16.
Bayern has made a really great choice by deciding to put their faith in the youngster. They will extend his contract for five years, offering Musiala €4.5 million per season after taxes in terms of salary. Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio confirmed this on the Here We Go podcast on Patreon.
Musiala is a new gem in Europe and is coming up at a brilliant pace. He could be the one to finally take the place of Thomas Muller, who himself has shown no signs of slowing down despite being on the wrong side of 30. Musiala plays as an attacking midfielder, and at 17, can be a great backup for Muller when he is unavailable due to injury or is rested.
There were clubs wanting a loan but Bayern wanted to keep him, and his performance against Lazio showed the world exactly why the sextuple winners rate the player so highly.
