India’s gaming scene just leveled up. Three studios from the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) scored major nominations at IGDC 2025, proving Indian developers can compete on the world stage. This milestone showcases the country’s rising creative and technical prowess in global game development.

Homegrown Talent Takes Center Stage

KIGI’s incubated studios—Kleanup Games, Dunali Games, and Singular Scheme—earned nominations for Upcoming Game of the Year across mobile and PC/console categories. Each studio brings unique storytelling and gameplay innovation to India’s gaming landscape.

IGDC 2025 Nominated Games

Dunali Games	Gurugram	Rookie Tales	Mobile Game	Google Indie Accelerator
Singular Scheme	Mumbai	Frontier Paladin	PC/Console	GDC, Gamescom LATAM, TGS

Anuj Sahani, Head of KIGI, emphasized that these nominations reflect both studio innovation and India’s evolving gaming ecosystem. The incubator provides $50,000-$150,000 in funding plus mentorship from global industry veterans across India, South Korea, and beyond.

CHROMADI has already gained international traction, reaching finals at the Game Development World Championship as Best Mobile Game. Dunali’s Rookie Tales showcases emotional storytelling depth, while Frontier Paladin has impressed audiences at major events like GDC and Comic Con’s Indie Game Utsav.
